This is a multi- building campus in south Miami-Dade. Consisting of one 6 story and two 3 story buildings. The two 3 story buildings have standby back –up generation to power the entire buildings. The 6 story building had only back-up power for emergency loads.

In order to provide back –up power for the entire building we built an above ground concrete mounting platform for 4 generators and paralleling switchgear. We installed three 400 KW Kohler generators, Kohler paralleling switchgear, 2 Lakeshore automatic transfer switches rated at 2000 amp each all associated controls and annunciation.

In addition to the above this project was geared toward establishing a LEED certification for the campus. Therefore we installed a Lighting control system manufactured by Intelligent Lighting controls throughout the three buildings. This will enable the building management system that was installed by Trane to monitor and control lights in areas as needed.

We also, installed power monitoring equipment manufactured by Schnieder Electric. This will give building management the information necessary to control power consumption throughout the campus.
